Primary Objective:  Assists the buying organization in achieving sales, profit and inventory related objectives through efficient planning and analysis

  • Ensures consistent, accurate planning and analysis procedures are utilized throughout the financial and assortment planning process
  • Guides system enhancements and implementations relating to financial and assortment planning and analysis
  • Maintains planning processes which includes maintaining documentation and training content
  • Work with Buyers/DMMs to create financial plans
  • Manages Bi-weekly OTB review process overseeing planning managers
  • Maintains consistent and advanced knowledge of SAS Planning system, including Admin functions
  • Mentors, trains and develops assigned planners and managers
  • Coordinates performance reviews, career objectives and scheduling for direct reports
  • Develops and coordinates Merchant Training related to Assortment Planning
  • Works closely with other Planning managers to integrate Assortment planning processes with space planning and replenishment
  • Coordinates the creation of ad hoc reports and analysis as requested
  • Attends planning conferences and vendor meetings as requested
